Trailer ramps from hell. 3" channel and angle iron 6" apart center to center 5' long. Still need to make some support between the legs and end of the trailer and weld on some D ring tabs. I'll fix the "extended sides" the PO made after my ride this weekend.

Half doors and some ****ty bondo work

Painting the bottom to match right now. Should have that dry so I can paint the backs and top tomorrow.

Sweet.

so.. I'm mildly worried. I'm about to start welding on my quarter panels, especially the one right below the gas fill up hole. Should I be super worried about this? I'm using MIG... What precautions should I take? I heard filling the tank is smart to aleviate fumes, but that seems like it could be bad if things go south.

Whats goin on guys and gals i just got a snap on YA217 Mig welder from my old man when he upgraded, been looking around and havent found very much info on these. anyone have any experience, from what ive learned so far is that its made by tweeco. anyone have a manual that could give me some info, i guess my best bet is to start laying some dimes and playing with some of the controls till i can get it right. :flag:

stuff a rag in it, and tape it up tight. I wouldn't fill it up. Just be extra careful.

New to welding

Hey just started practicing stick the other day. I have zero previous experience with any type of welding. After burning through a lot of rods I finally got a lap joint without slag holes. This is 6013 run at 105amps AC on a Lincoln Electric DC/AC welder. Tips and criticism are greatly appreciated.https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.che...f5cae0b9d9.jpg

Sorta. I bought the D&C kit then added to it. I'm about to take it out and start on a new hybrid design.

Got more pics? Or a thread for it?
