I had a bug up my ***** one day and went out and bought a ten inch kicker sub and amp... So I started by making a cardboard cutout with tape to utilize the side compartment as box so I could still keep the trunk clear... I wanted it to look clean and someone OEM type quality

So I went to Home Depot and got some MDF and measured my cuts( ill be honest I didn't measure that well and rushed it so they are a little uneven) and when I got home I started glueing it together.. I've made many sub boxes before and by no means am I a pro but I know what I'm doing... So I used clear silicone ( you can use white) you are suppose to wipe off the extra but it's not gunna do any harm... The only thing I forgt to photograph was the carpeting sorry... Basically just get some " replacement carpet" from Walmart in the auto section it works great and get some spray glue and slowly work your way around with it... Use a sharp razor blade to do the edges nicely and you can spray some glue on a plate and use a small paint brush to get up to the edge without spraying it everywhere and making a mess on your nice clean material...

To mount it to the panel I just used 1 inch self tapers from the back and took the interior panel off .... Planning took the longest... As far as building and installing... Probably took a half hour of cutting maybe 2-3 hours of glueing( won't be that long if you have more clamps I had to do mine in stages cuz I ran out) carpeting took all of 15-20 minutes but and hour dry time and installing took maybe 2 hours with a lot of Memorial Day celebration breaks haha
Constructive criticism / questions/ comments are welcome...
I know there is a sub and amp wiring thread in here too... All together I think I spent les than 250 for everything brand new ( that's a first for me I usually always buy used ) thanks for reading!

From the looks of it he is using the cargo space plastic as the rear of the enclosure. I have built thousands of enclosures, from MDF, lexan, fiberglass, carbon fiber, and even aluminum. If you are using the plastic as the rear of the enclosure you will regret it if you put any type of real power to it. Other than that, its a good use of space. Idk what the sq ft requirements are for that sub but I hope you took that into consideration.

I built one as well but did not make it as compact. I posted a CAD drawing of my box in my build thread in my sig if anyone is looking for completely detailed dimensions and pictures of it.
OP- It looks good but as stated, you wont have very good sound quality using the plastic as the back of the box.

definitely needs a solid back to it.. and you can get enough airspace for a single 10 without having to come into the cargo area at all. here's mine..

Yea I did use the space a a backing... I don't plan on using a lot of power too it and I haven't had an issue with it the way it is... If it bothers me ill change it , but why do you say that? Does it hit the panel or something?
I made it somewhat ported because the plastic panel has holes in the top of that cargo spot fr the factory... And where the curve is I put a smaller peice so there is about a half inch gap there too.... My square footage is suppose to be 1 so I eyeballed it around there... Thanks for all the comments guys... It actually is a real crisp bass sound and I'm happy with it or now... I used to go big with woofers but I'm a dj on the weekends so after a while you get tired of it haha
