Okay what i am asking is on ur center bar for example is that just laying in the bottom pipe and then u welded it in place or did u cut out a joint to make it a tighter fit? That a lil better?

no i just put the two peices next to each other and welded all the way around and grinded it smooth. the bent peices and the straight peices are both 1 1/4 conduit

I think what hes asking is did you notch the conduit before you welded it. Like where the top bar and the bottom come together in the top right corner. I would assume you did or you would have some crazy gaps to fill....

hey man, i really liked your idea so i started to copy it. i was hoping that u had more pics of the latch. i bought one that looks identical but when i tried to weld it i realized its aluminum. so thats not working so well

sweet, iv got some tube in the garage for doing tube doors and the hinges are the only thing holding me back cuz id like to make them decent and not some kind of hack job
