I thought there was already a "cup" piece in there. I know I use mine all the time as just a open storage bin. I also like having the lid.
that said, always something fun to do on an XJ, huh. I bet if you wanted it too like clean, you could do a little body filler, silicon, or epoxy and such.

Too much work for me to make another one lol. My girlfriend have been asking me to make one for her xj too, and I haven't gotten around to doing it, I think I lost the patterns for it too.
Too bad... My plan B was to see if you had the plans and go from there. Oh well, square-one it is!

Got rid of the ashtray nice. Guy I bought my xj from stuffed the change holder with burned up cigs....yay now I gotta figure how to get rid of the smell. So what's next to go your radio?
