Sway Bar Holder

Just thought of this tonight while getting ready for a weekend trip.

I Cut the eye to craddle the sway bar then put it through an existing hole in the frame. I used a nut and a washer to hold it in place on the inside but in the future I might drill a hole in the bolt and use the retainer clip. If someone else has a quicker/better solution please post, I would be interested to see what you came up with. Thanks.

Ran a difficult trail yesterday and it held up pretty good so I will keep using it. On the other side i used Velcro to keep the arms togather. This is the only flex photo I took when I exited the jeep to re-evaluate my line.

Where were you at in those photos? Looks like SoCall to me

Yup, in SoCal. The trail is mottino wash on the east side of Big Bear. Not sure if i have it spelled correctly.

Big Bear is an area I have yet to visit

I'd run a zip tie over the top to make sure it doesn't come out. I haven't found a good solution for my sway bar yet.

the hook seems to be holding. I have a nut and washer on the inside to keep it from sliding out. But you may be on to somthing. The bolt is fairly long so we might get away with sliding it in and using a zip tie on the outside to keep it togather.

Ah I see how you use it now. I thought it was always bolted in and you just swung the sway bar up and sat it on it, but you disconnect the sway bar then lift it up and add the hook in.
