I drilled a whole in the bracket that holds the seat back in the upright position and there is enough room there for a small padlock. I only did it to one side for right now, I will do the other eventually.

Hey just wondering I'm in high school and next semester I have woods I was wondering if you had build plans or if you had the measurement of all the things you use I want to buy an XJ and do all the mods and DIY myself Thanks

Edit: also any materials I will have to buy sorry don't mean to be a burden

If you look just above the user name in any post, you will see the date of the post.
This thread has been inactive for 9 years. It appears others asked for the same thing as you are and there was no response.

I'm glad to hear your school is offering a wood shop course!!
