Default Putting in twin 14400 BTU tranny coolers in my XJ

Well i think this would help my old AW-4 with heat so i can keep it alive.

Well i started this because my cooler line was leaking and then one thing lead to another. well i need to replace both lines and connectors. i also changed the filter and fuilds (atf plus 4).

Overkill!! but i am installing 2 Ford 14400 BTU high flow coolers

A cooler working trans us a better work tranmission

have pics of the whole install

wow! one tranny cooler is overkill with 2 you just killed it. just killed it...

But the only concern i have is... you now have 2 huge tranny coolers and a very hot AC condenser infront of your very vital radiator....

Let us know how your engine temp handles the loss of cold air flow!

but thumbs up for thinking outside the box! looks clean too

Agreed, You could mount one of them under the vehicle horizontally about three inches from the floor and get them same results. That's how we have the Allison Transmission kits setup in the Motorhomes

yeah so the coolers are high flow design. i used 2 with my 1988 ford turbo coupe and they didnt change the engine temp at all. so i dont use the a/c really at all plus my large hood vents keep the engine very cool. plus there still a good amount of area for the radiator. it should be fine and thank you guys for your concerns

Depends, test it, disconnect a line take a soda bottle and stick over it. Turn the jeep on then off and you'll know your flowing pattern. Bottles full, that's out bottles empty, return.
