Northline76 Bumper build
I took superquadguy's basic bumper design, and improved upon it to make it fit my needs much better. I like the tubing bumpers, but havent really liked any of the designs out there.
While I will not incorporate a winch plate I do plan on using a Winch receiver mount when needed because I 1. dont have the money for a winch yet, and 2. dont like leaving it out in the open, ive seen hitch ***** and drops stolen in my area. I also have two pro comp 100w lights that I want to be able to mount. Seeing how I am currently an engineering student I have autocad, and decieded to whip something up to see what you guys would think about it.
I would weld JCR unibody tie in brackets to the bumper. I am still trying to figure out how I would properly brace the 2 inch reciever on the bumper design. Here are my rough basic drawings, any comments and or suggestions are welcome.
