Thumbs up my xj diamond plate door panels.

hey, i was wondering if anyone els has done diamond plate door panels. heres mine if you did them you should post pics.. the jeep is ugly on the outside right now but i just go it and the dash is apart and i took all the interior panels out cause its my dd and its also my project soo i do it as i go along... i know this isnt realy fab but i dont know where els to post it.

That looks awesome, i think i'll do that with my Cherokee. It might be harder since mines a 97 though. Where did you get those seats?

thanks man, and there actually just stock xj seats that i duplicolor vinyl died.

i think they look sick!

arent you affraid of putting your arm on those after a hot day in the sun?

and, yes it is fab.......you fabricated them for your jeep.....correct section.

hehe thanks and ya i thought about how they would be in the summer, especially since i live in norcal where it gets pretty hot. so i used the plastic pieces from the original door panels as the tops of the door and bed lined them so they wont be crazy hot like just having d plate.

Nice man! I've thought about doing that but I'm not sure I have enought diamond plate at the moment- I've already made door/rocker guards and entry guards from it.

for the peeps in the hotter states (you lucky people) why not just paint the diamond plate black first?

dude i checked out your rocker guards and they look awsome!! i wanted to do that too but i also ran out of the diamond plate. ive always wanted my jeep to be dark army green with black rocker guards.. even though jeeps look awesome in any color they are.... im no racist
