Default my snorkel

ok im tied of water in my air box when i go into puddles so i made a snorkel some may say it stupid to do but i know what its like to blow a motor i just replaced mine a 5.2 is not cheap so this is what i madeName:  IMG_0219.jpg

Did your gas mileage go down after the install? Or the performance suffer? The diameter of the pvc is pretty small for a v-8...
Just a few thoughts, not trying to pick on you...

so far so good it seems to be ok i just put it on tonite so ya ill try to get the pics up but it being silly

some more i did what i could with it with what i had it made me think going from 4in to3in to2in but i got it thairs no leaks i put my hand over the top and it suck my hand harder then a vac and shut off so i no the ducktapes not perment but i was thinking of like exust rap or some thing that can take heatName:  IMG_0214.jpg

about 25 in part and $70 for the air box that air box is sweet cause its small and its got a rubber to make it air tight

go for it it works good no lack of power or nothing and i still have room for a nother battery if i want to run a converter or system it should work better on the 4.0 good luck

this is the air box i took the snorkel off and ill put it on when i need it for wheeling trips so itook out the little filter that come with it and put on a bigger filter for around town ijust have to find a rubber to fit in the hole on the fenderName:  IMG_2273.jpg
