So I've been going to the site looking at different ideas. The first thing I'd like to do is put a rack/basket on my XJ. I've been throwing around some ideas and I think I'm ready to put my rough draft out there. I really looking for some constructive criticism so I can do this right the first time. Attached is the design from 4 different sides. I plan on attaching lights to the front bottom section, that's what the outcropping is there for.
I also have question on dimensions. I know that the length and width will depend on the size of my XJ, but this is aimed at height issues.
How tall should the rack/basket be? and how much space should be between the bottom of my rack and the roof of the XJ?
And suggestion? please feel free to tell me if there are flaws with the design. I plan on redrawing it several times. Thanks
