Default lincoln 140hd

i just picked up a lincoln 140hd for $200 bucks!! i dont have 220 in my garage so i wanted pretty good 120v welder. the guy had it in an apartment and blew the breaker every 1/2 inch he welded. he said he tried it for 20 min then put it away for the last year.

i took a chance on buying it not knowing if it worked but it looked like it had never been used and it still has 2 years left on the warranty.

well i got it home and tried it out and it works great!!

anyone else have one of these? i have only used it with flux core so i was wondering how it does with gas.

Is that the pro mig 140? if so half price or better is a good deal and my brother has one and he been using his for a while now (WITH GAS) with no complaints. He also welds for work so he has been doing this for a long time now. Fuse was to small on outlet else it would work fine.

i use flux core.....you can weld thicker metal without multiple passes, and the simple fact i need to buy a gas tank still. i would rather do it with gas , just because its cleaner.
