Got the trans tunnel framed out and driver side floor cut and sitting in place. Mounted the gas pedal and instrument cluster as well.

Great progress! Is the reason for RHD solely because of the front driveshaft or is there another reason?

Yeah, because of the driveshafte the footwell is to narrow to accommodate the pedals and steering column.

Had to make it RHD to keep the transfer case out of your lap?

I can't imagine your keeping it 4wd with the front suspension so articulated and far ahead of the transfer case. Why keep the transfer case?
Wouldn't a 2wd tail housing have been much easier to fab around?

it is staying AWD. The front driveshaft is going to be stock length from the engine mount to the axle. I am doing a straight shaft to a carrier bearing at the motor mount and then it will be at less of an angle then stock to the front axle from there.

Ahhh... That does make sense. My F350 has that in the rear, and your just using it in the front. Very good idea.

Sorry for no updates, been out for a surgery and wasn't able to do anything till this past week. Finally was up to working again and got the floors painted and installed. 293 rivets later and they are looking good! Got the new steering column loosely hanging where it is going to be mounted and the new steering wheel with quick release on it. Made seat brackets and started getting the seats installed and tonight the new battery mount came in so I went ahead and installed it as well.

The right side is going to pass under the engine to the left side then it will turn up and the left side will go down from the manifold and turn up beside the other then they will both turn back down and back at an angle. Kinda hard to describe it exactly.

Love the progress! On the exhaust point - will the exhaust come out the back or side/elsewhere?
