Default Installed hood vents (Marine Vents of Ebay)

I dont recall what these cost to get shipped here but I believe it was under $30.

It was pretty straight forward, just trying to make sure had them where I wanted them and then had them straight, well as straight as I could get them.

P.S. dont use tin snips on your hood

Looks good. What's with the tin snips? Did it give you a wave?

Hell yeah it did, PITA to try and get the vent to seat properly after that.

I would imagine so, but nothing that it doesn't already get from under the jeep, plus where I put it not much there to mess with, only the coil pack plug with if i remember right is water proof any how.

Yes, rain will get in. Ruined two tps sensors that way. Gotta water proof good. Other than that the ones I installed work like a champ!

It's called di-electric grease. use it. Whether you have hood vents or not. Been running my vents for almost 18 months now and haven't had a single issue with rain, snow (yes, we do get some here in Virginia Beach), or river crossings all because of that wonderful stuff.

And where would I want to put that grease? I have vents now to.

You want to find every electrical connection you can, and slather it in or on. Don't worry about using too much, the extra will ooz out and di-electric grease is very cheap and you can get it anywhere.
