Default Hood GoPro Camera

Besides taking some wheeling vids, I use the camera to view what is just in front of me through an old phone. Its difficult to see over the hood and by looking through the gopro I have a better idea on where the obstacles are. One issue i have is the gopro batteries dont last long and i am constantly changing thrm out. So I connected an old USB to the battery and ran the charging cord to the gopro.

I used a dremel to make an opening for the cord. I was very precise to keep dust and moisture out. The cord fits snug, but i would not consider it to be waterproof.

That's a really good idea. I will have to do that with my GoPro too. I have a hero 4 session so I might attach it to my steel front bumper to give it a cleaner look

Thanks....i ran 7 hours of trails today and did not have to change the battery. Seems to be working well so far.
