i built my own light bar for my front bumper. instead of just mounting the lights straight to the bumper.IMG_0321.jpg
i made it out of old steel plumbing pipe and 1/4" steel plate.

Installed a custom switch panel over the pointless little cubby under the glovebox. Got switches on there for my aux engine bay cooling, winch and an "Electric aerial isolator" so that I can listen to CD's while in tight woody areas and not worry about breaking my radio mast off. Its got all the aux wiring and relays for my roof lights behind the panel, and also the power supplies for my GPS and TomTom. I made the panel out of ply and covered it with a piece of leather that I had hanging around. Even stuck an old Jeep badge on.

Also, printed out a set of white backgrounds for my dash....

Also, I installed a Snorkle that was designed for a petrol engined XJ to my TD XJ

The air box has been modded, using a gutter down pipe end fitting (from the local hardware store) for a new inlet. The old inlet was blanked with a piece of steel, some silicone and some creative work with a pop riveter

The snorkel fits to the outside of the truck, the same as normal, then from inside the wing, the air is ducted under the battery tray, and up over the radiator cowl (Some trimming of the cowling was required, see the pic) and into the new inlet on the air box.

For ducting, I used some flexi heater ducting from an '84 Granada, (similar to a Ford Taurus) some big jubilee clips from a motor factors, silicone sealant and various bits of black drainpipe from the local hardware store

^^^^i used rubber base(for housing) and some scrap pieces of metal to keep its shape, very cheap to do and was fairly easy
