You can probably do it yourself if you don't mind stripping every but of paint down to the metal and spray that girl down. Might take a lil bit of time

Well schedule an appointment a week in advance for the herculinjng and do the stripping at home. Will save on a day of labor

I would love todo the whole inside and half out my outside but my funds aren't available for all that:(

xj_maniac_newb Aug 21, 2011 01:33 PM

if you're having it some by line x don't bother with prep I'm pretty sure they sand blast it either way

96xjclassic Aug 21, 2011 01:37 PM

It's probably so expensive, but imagine how awesome it would be!

Awhile back I got quoted $2000 from line-x for OD green bedliner with the UV protection and everything, so cheaper than a regular paint job. Still can't decide whether I wanna keep Chery red or make it OD green and make it look military, close to what OD89 has, but more of a WWII Willie's look- with the allied star-

That would be sweet.

I've taken camo pouches and screwed them in the back, doors, and a few other places. Check military surplus stores if you like the army look.

Pics?

BuckH Aug 21, 2011 09:40 PM

Sorry no camera, cuz I'm broke but il get some pics up soon. 40mm grenade pouches and m60 magazine pouches can look pretty nice.

3" stainless steel tubing, capped and recessed into the center console!

Great Idea

I made some new cheap disconnect's for the front sway bar. I used to have a 3" Lift and was running a set of skyjacker quick disconnect's, but when I added more lift and am now at 6.5" of lift I made longer disconnect's for it. Basically I just got some 1/2" rigid conduit pipe cut to length I needed, welded 2 pieces together and drilled the holes for the pins to go through. And painted to preference.
