Just a suggestion on this. The area of the rear of the hood is a high pressure area. That is why old muscle cars used that for an intake for the engine. More air at high speed. Sort of like a mini ram. So basically you have a high pressure area in front and one in back of the hood. Not sure which is more, but they kind of tend to cancel each other out. I realize it is not intuitive, but wiser people than me have come up with that. The area I chose has the most negative pressure of any place on the front clip.

This was made with the stock bezel,
Cut taller and the sides filled in with cardboard,glued in and covered for now with tape that was then painted wood grain.
Thinking of using actual filler to do it the right way for now tho, this will do lol
My homebrewed double din radio bezel, not bad for cutting and modifying without the radio or dimension of the radio.

Made this brake line clamp out of half inch thick steel with a drill press and band saw
