front bumper drawings
today i got board so i started to draw out my front bumper that i want to build. the unibody tie ins are 1/4 the bumper is 1/8 and the d ring mounts are 3/4. i drew this based on the jcoffroad prerunner bumper. tell me what you think.

that will look nice when it is done same basic idea. i cant buy one when i can make one for a fraction of the cost lol

Same here...can't bring myself to spend money on something that I can build for almost nothing. It was 100% scrap metal that I already had in the garage.
I see you're from Michigan also... I'm down in the southeast corner just north of the Ohio boarder.

i modeled mine after JCRs winch bumper. i used box tube as the main structure but plate would work too. when you build it, space out one of the mounts by 1/8" or so. when you weld it up, the mounts might shrink in and if you tack everything with the mounts tight, you might not be able to get the bumper back on when its fully welded.
