I sealed mine up with silicone, but the way i see it water comes up from the bottom anyway

That surprisingly looks pretty good

Not to shabby, I would use the skinny vents instead so they wouldnt be so square but better venalation with big one I'm sure, but I still like it

No concerns. Like nukinfuts said, just seal the cap with silicone and use di-electric grease on all your sensors, plug wires, etc. Water gets in from the bottom anyway so it's a good idea to seal it all up whether you do vents or not. Been running my vents for over a year w/o drip pans and have had zero issues.

since i have a little more time now...

How did you actually mount them on? It looks like you just used the cover (vent park only) and screwed it in, but i was just curious because i have actually been thinking about doing exactly this.

just used a cutting disc to remove the insert part ,you can use that piece for your stencil to cut the hood, predrilled all holes, stanless steel screws and silicone calk between hood and vent to prevent rusting,,,not bad for $20.00 ''My Opinion''

have you noticed any difference in cooling/engine temps? Mine is getting ugly, I was starting to overheat on the freeway on the way back from tahoe in 65 degree temps. lol. but I also need a new radiator. I am just wondering if 4 vents would be much better than 2

Thats what i was thinking about a week ago at Home Depot. I couldn't picture it in my head though (i only want two) so i was apprehensive. Seeing how good they look i want them now for sure.
