So, last week I deceide to go camping and find out that I can't put all my gear in or on the jeep and stil have access to the important stuff......the beer. With a bit of scrap and a couple hours, I fixed that problem.
Angle and square tube....small stuff to keep the weight down.
Galvanized onduit for the legs.....
Yes I welded it....Yes I have a resperator....No I didn't use it....
You can see the camping stuff on the ground
A few cross braces
And here we go....the Ice chest fits next to the green milk crate that carries the tools, oil, etc, and I don't have to unload the other crab for my

looks real nice. i was just watching truck u were they made a pretty sweet trailer for a sar wrangler out of 2 sections of i think tj tubs. thought it would be cool to make one out of an xj

yup that was a trick tj trailer build up and very cheap if you have access to two wrecked tjs

Not sure how it would work on an xj being unibody and all.....but we can try

ha i was thinking of that cause they have lots of busted xjs at the jy by me i was thinking of cutting two of them up and making one from them i think you could just slide some 2x3 box tubing into the unibody rails and that would put some streanght back in.

i think i would use the front clip of the xj and cut it about haf way through the wheel well and do the same with the rear and mend them together. then build a whole new floor and make my own frame rails. thats what i see in my head. a lot more details would need to be figured out obviously
