So it basically shifted the bumper of two inchs to the passanger side. Most of the bumper I can heat and hammer back into place. It's late now so ill have to get more pics. For right now I have my stock bumper on again. What I want to do is make the bumper beefy at the mounts and make it so it ties into the unibody and I can bolt hooks to it.
And I'm going to weld angle iron where those tabs stick out so they don't bend so easy. Like I said ill get more pics in the morning. Suggestions and what not would be great!

I would make some new unibody frame mounts out of thicker steel

I plan to weld another plate on to it, then I want to weld plates on to either side of my brackets for my bumper. How much to I have to tie in to make it so I can is the bumper as a recoverey point? I have the stock tow hooks but I don't really like how they go on.

The further back the better.

Some folks plate the entire subframe.

Would I have to drill holes?

You should at least go back to the steering box bolts if you plan on pulling on it much!

Mostly plan to have it so someone can pull me out from the front. I prefer to pull from my trailer hitch.

After talking with another member I think ill weld those tie in brackets to my bumper and either weld d rings tabs to the bumper or bolt tow hooks to it.

Alright so im going this route. In theory my bumper will go on top of those after i reinforce the mounts on the bumper its swlf or should a try and sqeeze factory tow hook mounts in there too?

I went that route also! I had to get them cause the PO of my XJ hit a tree during a big snow storm and dented one of the tabs in till it was flat! After i straightened it out and plates made it tougher especially with my winch bumper from them. I don't know if you'll be able to put factory tow hooks back on but I never really tried.

Your saying you bolted them to the bumper? My bumper metal is just as thick as the tow hook mount metal so I think its ok.

I bought one of the JCR winch bumpers and the tabs on the bumpers go on the outside of the mounts and bolt right in.
