Maybe we should do that here since nobody reports anything.
I'd hate to see it come to that though..

Lol i remember thats what we used to do.. Get everyone doing it and the problem should fix itself. And to be honest, I doubt the majority of the population even knows how to report a thread. Maybe when you go to the rules list you have a set of commonly asked questions at the top or in a different section of its own for those who are "forgetful" or in other words too lazy to read the rules, which id say there are alot of "those people" on here. Have questions like "How do a report a post?" and "How do i contact a Mod?" or "How do i know what section to post in?"

Just a suggestion. Seems to work well for some of the other sites im on

lol i dont think its a "problem understanding" kind of thing most times, but more a "too lazy to think" kind of thing.

Travis, is there a way we can force new users to read through tutorials/rules BEFORE being able to post? Maybe talk to IB about it?
Just report posts and itll make it easier for us to go to one section then to try and cover every section ya know? U know as good as i do that if the new members were pushed through to the rules and have to "check" a box or something saying they comply that they will just go right to the check box without reading... heck im guilty of that even... lol

i was tring to report post that didnt belong and still do to some extent but it got frustrating and i learned to just scan for things im interested in seeing

really its sad if a section has to be deleted do to people not reading section rules

i still stand by want i said in a ealier post on this that the Fab section needs to have a limit to who can post a new thread like For Sale section has
you can read and reply but no new thread without meeting the criteria

perhaps a Fab section thread starter application lol
I think having a limited about of posts like the for sale section is a good idea since it seems to be confused new people that do it the most here... ill take it up with admin...

You'd have people deleting threads because they dont like the tires the OP runs, color of his rig, energy drink he prefers, LOL!
On a serious note though, from my view we only have two or three active moderators. The forum continues to grow, has any thought been given to increasing the number of moderators? Just a thought.
There is actually several of us... theres some of us here that dont post and "hang out" with members as much as we used to because were to budy searching for things wrong and correcting reported posts... there is more like 8 of us and 3ish admin now... two of those being IB so they dont really talk to anyone but us... it doesnt sound like many but it is plenty for now honestly...

Do this BUT in a nice manner... were not big on "flaming" here so it needs to be in a nice way...

We have a whole section dedicated to answering questions that you guys have already... rarely posted in but have it... kind of like the suggestion area although ill admit i dont get to look there often... i do like how some sites have a list of the mods and links to PM them at the top of each section... ive seen that somewhere... then again OKC gets literally like 10 PM's a day about tech questions because his name says "admin" he has no choice but to just ignore them all... in fact a few of us mods get a lot of those (not me luckily for some reason... probly cause i dont hang out in the tech areas much anymore) but right now our main admin is pretty swamped with a little bit of everything at home... so kinda hard to get on top of anything thats going on... IB is are biggest thing trying to deal with still... there are a lot of errors people are getting still since the server swap over that were/their still working on... we got mods that cant even get logged in half the time still...
