Bothers me because it looks weird and leaves your jeep vulnerable.
This is a dent on my jeep that you guys could get by having a shorter sliders.

If I had full length sliders I wouldn't have this dent.

I agree with all the "haters". LOL.

It looks off & I'd rather alter the new flares around good protection than risk the chance of messing up my fender or flare.

I agree with you on going with the 1/8", as long as you have it braced well.

What you guys have to say is irrelevant, it's pretty obvious he had a look he's going for, and he removed the rusted out material in the process. It's pretty ****ing obvious if he wanted them longer he would have made them that way.

Every thread is the same, some douche saying "how dare he do it different than I would!"

Kinda sounds like a passive-aggressive version of Pirate in here. Flaming the guy with the same questions over and over?

He built it just the way he wanted them. You guys that like flares should be proud of him!

Yes they are 2x6 rockers and I know many people don't like it like I didn't it but I have four inches and want to put flares on it so I can fit big tires with low lift kinda lowcog

This guy proves my point, he clearly doesn't understand.

Just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it's valid, I don't recall this guy asking for your help. Perhaps he simply posted it because he liked it and thought others might as well.

Cool indeed.

The way I see it, if he isn't doing serious rock crawling, the way he went about his sliders is not bad. If he did, then probably shoulda gone thicker than 1/8.

Plus I like the look of em.
