Default What are the odds of a non-XJ winning COTM?

I certainly understand why XJ's get so many votes, since it seems most members own them more than any other form of Cherokee. I have my own 98 with two pages and $9000 worth of mods and goodies.

But I also have a 2011 Grand that I've put $4500+ worth pf goodies into. It will never have the off-pavement potential that an XJ does, but if you don't spend your weekends crawling over boulders and tackling 4 diamond trails, and you just want a good overland vehicle, the WK2 can be a great option. In fact, they are quite poular with the Aussie off-road crowd. And they are still far more capable than most modern SUVs.
I know there are other guys on here that have WJ's and WK's that are highly capable and great looking off-road machines, as well, and I think they deserve some respect and mention.

Do we even have any members that try to submit anything other than an XJ for COTM?

A few have entered and even won. But people don't mod them like they do XJ's, and the ones who have won, have been completely custom builds.

Enter it, man. I'm a fan of the WK2s and would be interested to see your work.

Enter it. If it came down to your WK and my XJ, I'd have to vote for your WK.
BTW, just checked on the progress made on the WK, looking good.
