4 Door, probably original engine 4.0 straight 6 but i recently changed the gauge cluster so my mileage is now 252,864 miles, AX15 (its not the BA one) but it is manual. NP231 for the transfer case i believe.

Front: Dana 30, redid the inner seals, has the outer seals, replaced u-joints, removed CAD and has the 2 piece axle conversion, new hubs, brakes, and rotors

Rear: Dana 35, redid the rear brake lines, and wheel cylinders, 4.55 gears

Suspension: Don't remember but at least a 6 inch lift (springs & Leafs, adjustable control arms upper and lower), all rustys off road minus the front shocks (they are ranchos), adjustable track bar, steering box brace

Extras: Slip yoke eliminator, extended brake lines, control arm drop kit, snorkel, K&N air filter, precision injectors (6), Don't know the brand (Front bumper, Rear bumper and tire carrier), Roof Rack (smittybilt), Bushwacker fender flares, and a couple small things: D- rings, stickers, bar cover for rear lights, marker lights are clear with amber LED's, Lund Sun visor, vent visors for the doors

Man for some reason I really like that white XJ in Braytonia's pictures. Looks familiar for some reason. Good luck to everyone!

You cheesy guy, you.

That being said, he got my vote. That's an everyman's XJ right there. All the entries this month are great guys, but Braytonia's kinda got that "Hooptie" vibe if ya know what I mean

It may be a hooptie in most people's eyes but that "hooptie" was only 800 bucks (running with 4wd) and gets me through more trails than I could ever ask for! :head: sometimes even more than 5-speeds XJ... Shhhhh, don't tell him I said that though. :tongue_smilie:

Thanks for the love guys and everyone who voted for my hooptie thus far!! =)

I remember this day all too well... 5-speed; "hey Brayton, INTENTIONALLY get yourself stuck in the mud so I can see if my 4wd swapped XJ and new recovery rope can pull you out." Me; "Ok, I love mud!!" I was inticed...

Just wait until I dig up that one picture where you high centered on a SMALL hill and my "hooptie" had to pull you off... Just wait! :thumbup1:

lol.... I meant "Hooptie" as in similar to the build of my (former) Jeep which was named "The Hooptie".... but there's room in this world for more than one Hooptie!

5-Speed 06-01-2018 02:15 PM

How about the west coast hooptie?

Basslicks 06-01-2018 10:49 PM

Call it The Hooptie, man. My Jeep doesn't carry that name anymore. It has a new owner now lol
