My phone takes some pretty good pics, 5mp and the auto focus makes em nice. Better than my old Kodak point and shoot. It was 6mp.
I'm not worried about the banner. The banner is easy.

I'm worried about the Calendar. Fuzzy pictures in a Calendar are not acceptable.

I wasn't pleased with several pictures in the last Calendar but that's all I could do since the winner's refused to take time to get good pictures.

I would simply make the new rule:
Within 1 week the COTM winner must submit a 800x1200 pixel, 200dpi (minimum) photo to LR2. If this is not done, the 2nd place finisher moves into the winning spot, and so on.

I think it's good, especially since we're doing calendars.

XJ/MJGuy was and still is a horrible grainy picture.

N20's was all ****ed up until I had him go take better pictures.

Nickell586 required a LOT of photoshop.

EmptyPockets wasn't aweful but wasn't great either.

Mud-Digger was a cell phone picture.

The rest were HUGE images and worked great.

No.

That picture is 525x700 @ 72 dpi. I need 800x1200.

The picture I took straight from my camera is 2448x3696 @ 300 dpi. lol

Now, it may have been resized when you loaded it to the forum. You can email it to me if you'd like and I can check it.

I'd have to put it on photo bucket or something to get full resolution wouldn't I?

I edited my post above. Those are the settings I see once I save it to my computer. Photobucket resizes pictures also.

Email it to me.

Cool. Good to know.

I've been planning on getting one of those rugged water proof point ans shoot cameras soon. I just haven't decided which one.

The DPI (dots per inch ?) Is what makes it looked washed out isn't it?
