- 1999
- Sport
- Stock 4.0L, NP-231 with Rugged Ridge SYE, D30 front with Yukon Grizzly locker, D44 Rear with Yukon Grizzly locker, 4.88 gears, 35-12.50-15" Goodyear MTR.
- 9000 lb winch on Smitty Bilt front bumper, Trucklite LED headlights, 40" LED light bar on Detours USA LED Head mount, 20" on the bumper, Custom 2x6x1/4" rock rails, IRO OTK Steering, Dodge Durango Steering Box, IRO Double Shear Track bar, IRO 6.5" Long Arm Lift.
- I bought this about 4 years ago from a retired gentleman that was the original owner. The leafs had started to sag so he put new springs in it all the way around and "it rode like crap." So he put the long arm kit in it @ 4" then he couldn't get into it because it was too tall. I bought it from him that way with 30" tires on it. I took it home and quickly had it sitting at 6 1/2" of lift with a few things I had laying around. The first winter I had it was rough on the rockers so I cut them out and welded in the tube rockers. I've been picking away at it, added the D44 in the rear and the lunchbox 2 summers ago and the front lunchbox last summer. Both of the axles were getting pretty sloppy so in the last month I did a full rebuild of both axles. New bearings and seals from flange to flange and had Grizzly lockers but in to boot. I got a wild hair and picked up a new set of 35's for the run last weekend. Huge difference and I'm extremely happy with how this is progressing.
