Just a small story, my parents bought this for me as my first car. All was good until I wrecked it, then brought it back as some Frankenstein monster. so I guess ill try to incorporate both stages. 1989 jeep Cherokee limited 4.0 aw4 231 30/35 Mods: rc 3in leafs with zone 1.5" shackles 4.5'' re coils rc fixed lowers iro double shear track bar rc shocks cragar d windows with 4'' bs 31" general grabber at2s/33'' sidewinder mts/ 33'' super swampers jcr front basic bumper/ stubby bumper 8.25 with 29 spline shafts light bar putco harness rampage h4s zj fan clutch 703s pacesetter header magnaflow highflow cat super 44 muffler 2.5'' tailpipe sony sound system camo headliner hood vents bedlined the inside non vac disco hp30 swapped in open cooling system plugged vacuum lines Doorless mod of course! That's all I can think of, as of right now the jeep is getting parted out. No use fooling with it anymore. Found another for $400 :D Future mods for this would have been as followed: serious long arms 44/9 35s roll cage of some sorts Hopefully the pics worked out! |

Black Bear! Father & Son Rebuild
1987 Jeep Cherokee Drivetrain: 3.5 in lift with rancho front and bilstien rear 31X10.5X15 BFG All Terrain tires 15X8 Steel Rims Freshly rebuilt 4.0L straight six bored 60 over swapped the 4 speed auto for 5 speed manual AX15 rebuilt NP231 tcase custom length driveshafts stock axles, (hopefully replacing soon, larger lift and tires to go with) Armour: Custom front bumper 3/8 in rectangle tubing Custom rear bumper 3/8 in rectangle tubing, with swing arm for spare tire mount and 2 5 gal gas cans Custom rock sliders 1/4 in rectangle tubing Custom cage bolted to frame and welded to B piller to strengthen unibody were i chopped the roof, with a mount for my highlift jack welded to the side Misc: Headers Chopped roof Removed doors Custom wood dashboard and roof (center consol and rest of interior to come) Pretty seat covers to hide ugly old tan In process of installing complete new stereo system Future goals: Dana 44 axles 35-37in tires Finish interior Add stinger and winch to front bumper Attachment 206913 Attachment 206915 Attachment 206914 Attachment 206916 Hope you all enjoy it. |
