1988 AMC Jeep Cherokee Pioneer
- 207,XXX miles
- original color of "Buff Yellow"

Motor/Drivetrain:

- Inline-6, 4.7L stroker swapped in at ~205,624 miles
- 62mm throttle body and '99+ intake manifold, ported and polished
- 24lb/hr Venom Python fuel injectors (better than Ford Cobra injectors, supposedly)
- Homemade Renix-to-HO TPS adaptation
- Brown Dog polyurethane motor mounts
- Converted to open cooling system
- Factory A/C bypass pulley assembly
- NP231 with HnT SYE
- AW4 with Power/Confort mode and B&M trans. cooler
- Non-disco HP D30 with 5-297x u-joints & 27 spline C8.25 with factory 4.10's (came from '94 XJ with 2.5L/AX5 and ABS)
- ZJ rear disc brakes
- '96 XJ dual diaphragm brake booster and MC

Suspension/Steering:
- 3 inch Rusty's Kit, modified to 4 inches of lift
- Coil spacers and extended shackles
- Rusty's fixed LCA's
- Extended, stainless steel braided front brake lines
- Dayco 4 inch front bump stops
- Prothane sway bar polyurethane bushings
- Energy Suspension UCA polyurethane bushings

Just a small story, my parents bought this for me as my first car. All was good until I wrecked it, then brought it back as some Frankenstein monster. so I guess ill try to incorporate both stages.

Black Bear! Father & Son Rebuild

1987 Jeep Cherokee

Drivetrain:
3.5 in lift with rancho front and bilstien rear
31X10.5X15 BFG All Terrain tires
15X8 Steel Rims
Freshly rebuilt 4.0L straight six bored 60 over
swapped the 4 speed auto for 5 speed manual AX15
rebuilt NP231 tcase
custom length driveshafts
stock axles, (hopefully replacing soon, larger lift and tires to go with)

Armour:
Custom front bumper 3/8 in rectangle tubing
Custom rear bumper 3/8 in rectangle tubing, with swing arm for spare tire mount and 2 5 gal gas cans
Custom rock sliders 1/4 in rectangle tubing
Custom cage bolted to frame and welded to B piller to strengthen unibody were i chopped the roof, with a mount for my highlift jack welded to the side

Misc:
Headers
Chopped roof
Removed doors
Custom wood dashboard and roof (center consol and rest of interior to come)
Pretty seat covers to hide ugly old tan
In process of installing complete new stereo system

Future goals:
Dana 44 axles
35-37in tires
Finish interior
