Rig sitting on 44s ...42pits work better so dropped the 44s.

Front axle-- 79 Dana 60 Full hydraulic steering , Custom modified knuckles , 5.13 , Detroit locker , 4340 inner/outer shafts Yukon Joints, Yukon Hardcore locking hubs , full truss...bla bla bla

Rear axle 14 bolt Detroit 5.13s ,disc brakes, Full Ballistic bottom shave. Artec truss...home built rear back bone, home built diff cover to truss tie in , home built pinion bridge tie into truss.,tubes welded .

4.0 Atlas 5.0 Home built DOM 1/2 wall drive shafts .

Full belly skid subframe

4link rear/Radius arm front

Overkill boatsides

Full exo tied into inner 6 point cage tied into su frame and boat sides ...not bending thus "unibody"

Hd off road full frame plate ...1/4 over that from frame horn to firewall .

Gas tank raised up between unirails ...rails boxed in and a cross member welded in front and rear of tank . Aluminium tank cover to make pretty .

Wheel base stretch to 115
Track width 92ish

I spent close to 800 hours rebuilding this after the initial exo cage work when it was on 40s...the list of actual metal work in that time is too long to list ...easy to say it's no longer a bolt on rig . I still have few hundred more hours to go before it is where it needs to be , but had to wheel it this Summer not work on it .

There isn't much Cherokee left except the front clip but here is my submission for August.

I started with a 1987 XJ with the 4.0l engine, NP231 t-case, and AW4 transmission. It now has a full tube chassis with an XJ front end and rear "tail gate". The front axle is a Dana 30 that has been sleeved, it has RCV's, and an ARB locker. The rear axle is a Dana 44 that has been trussed, it also has an ARB, chromoly axle shafts, and a disc brake conversion. The suspension is a 3-link with coilovers in the front and a 4-link with coilovers in the rear. It also has over the knuckle crossover steering with hydro assist, UHMW flat belly and boat sides, RCI fuel cell, suspension seats, 4-point harnesses, Raceline beadlocks, and 35" tires. The wheelbase has been stretched to 104" and the belly height is 20". It is also still street legal.
