Wrangler Water Pump and help please!!!!

SO heres the deal...

I just did a water pump replace on a 2000 Wrangler with a 2.5l 4 banger in it. That is a pain to do btw. Anyways though an issues has arised that happened. Then water pump went out on drive through the gorge(I am in oregon.) Made the typical Im a dead water pump noises so we pulled off called a tow truck and only started it to put on the truck and to drive in to the garage. Well after the change was done a loud ticking noise has been heard from the front part of the engine. No idea what it could be. Any help please?

Engine: 4.0 I6 firepower ignition, cat-back w/ magnaflow muffler, poweraid tb spacer, optima blue top

Check to see if anything is hitting the fan or pulleys.

yea did that already just to check the obvious. Just realised that it is spitting out some water as well but everything seems to still be full and when it was put on the flatbed it only leaked when it was at an angle.
