Learned to drive in a 70's international pickup on my grandpa's farm...i was to short to reach the pedals so my brother put it in gear and i drove her across the field and killed it when i needed to stop...here's an example pic(minus the plow and add a sprayer), love these old trucks they can take a beating and still run stronger than ever.

My dads 77 K5 with a 4inch on 38s, and my moms 81 caprice wagon 350 diesel, and the 74 scout two that all of us kids drove when we were out at our grannies in the big bend, terlingua ranch area.
A Ford Courier pick up, 4sd(basically a Mazda pick up)
We lived 20 miles from the high school I went to and my dad was a teacher/head football coach. I had just got my learners during the school day. As my dad and I walked out to the truck, he tossed me the keys and said, "You are gonna drive us home today!"
I was scared to death especially knowing that I had to deal with highway traffic on US220 south out of Roanoke. I don't think I got over 45 mph the whole way home. I'm sure I killed his clutch and rounded off a few gears. He sat on the pass side and laughed his *** off at me the whole way home!
The good ole days, I wish dad was still around to laugh at me, then I could laugh with him again......
