them motor and trannys regaurdless are junk and bond to give you all kinds of problems if they are over 140k thats there week point and they just give up on life... they are rough riding rust buckets.... just a friendly warning... jeeps have problems but those just take a **** all together when they have problems

I think its funny how everyone that has a early 90's toyota think there atleast 4k when you can get a jeep with half the miles for 2k lol.

Well guys with enough suggestions im passing on that toyota and I am going to be keeping the Jeep.

Now what i need is some suggestions for a good daily driver car. I was thinking a Audi A4?

My buddy had a 99 A4, bought it for cheap from a kid who put lots of money into it, and then the timing gear snapped, and he bent most of the the valves..
Fun little car, but the 1.8t motor does not have a good rep.
My dad runs a European car service department down in NC, mostly VWs Audis, BMWs, Benz and Porshces, and he said the most common car in his shop are VWs and Audis with those 1.8s, even newer/low mileage ones...
