While I am a dedicated Jeep guy, I still appreciate the trucks and 4x4s of other makes that are done right - proper wheels, nice lifts, legit offroad mods. They give me the inspiration to work on my own Jeep. I'm sure that you guys often find the pictures of such rigs too, so why don't we share them in this thread?

I go first. How do you like this one?

This 90s Durango looks insane on 35s, but needs more tire IMO found here

Another good domestic SUV with some tasteful off-road mods. Lifted Ford Expedition on big 35 inch offroad wheels and a roof rack.

I like the E-Series. I really want an E350 diesel as a tow rig.

Yeah, it's on my wish list too! Not as light like a Cherokee, but definitely more spacious for camping.

I just love the old school open top windows down Jeeps. They are so raw and simple...

Now something old school: lifted Jeep Cherokee chief on huge 37" Wrangler M/T tires and Dana 60! (Found it here).

I am pretty sure that picture was taken right above my house.

Really goes to show how something so damn ugly can be made to look good.

In stock form I'd never even look at those things.. but that... I would drive. Reminds me of an old XJ.

Yeah I agree, perhaps it wasn't a big commercial success because of that design...but when fitted with some nice wheels and lift this thing becomes a new XJ but bigger and more spacious

Since you are including non Jeeps, how about a near Jeep.

It is an American Motors M422A1 Mighty Mite. All aluminum body, motor and gear box casings. Full independent suspension. This one has a 2L four banger transplanted in it. It is much faster on the trails than my XJ in the background
