So I got this idea about three years ago, & the search finally ended the other day at the Dollar Tree.

Halloween gag.

Red plastic tape.

Permanent wave/ permanent jeep wave.

I'll be getting my company set up right quick, sell y'all my cool idea!

Now I'm waving to everyone, & they're all wavin back too. I've even noticed some folks wincing like they couldn't believe they fell for it. I just smile & nod to them.

I honestly thought it was supposed to be a gag that looked like that driver had fallen under the steering column >.>

Cool idea though

I see what you mean, without a driver it does look that way.

need to mount it on a spring now so it actually moves back and forth. Or maybe a pivot on a long pole you can bump with your knee or elbow to make it wave.

I had thought about the spring, but that would have made it stick up too high.

I like the pole/pivot idea though, may have to look at that.

The expressions "patent pending" (sometimes abbreviated by "pat. pend." or "pat. pending") or "patent applied for" refer to a warning that inventors are entitled to use in reference to their product or process once a patent application has been filed, but prior to the patent being issued or the application abandoned. The marking serves to notify potential infringers who would copy the invention that they may be liable for damages (including back-dated royalties), seizure, and injunction once a patent is issued.
