so i dont have a mustang forum website deal but i have this. my 5.0 mustang 302 is having bad oil pressure issues. BUT ONLY AT IDLE???? its got the right amount. it doesnt leak oil at all really maybe a qaurt a month or two. i dont know what could be causing it, at idle it ticks and knocks a little but its fine when drivin. and it only starts doing it after a while when you start it up it gets great oil pressure when its cold.

 

motor time, Bearings in the crank r worn out. Oil pump could be going tooo. Crank kit wouldnt hurt. If theres any smoking from the engine, it could be the rings.
