Need help, any tire or freightliner guys, rig mechanics?
Okay so my boss wants to get new wheels for our 1957 pool/cooper oil production rig. I have 20 inch split rims and have been told that I cannot get new wheels (aluminum or chrome wheels) w/o changing the hub flange to fit 22.5 inch. One tire shop told me that for a time durring the switch to 22.5 from 20 inch that there was a wheel made to fit the old 20 inch pattern that was 22.5 inch?
Is any of this true?
And does anyone know where I might source new wheels from?
