Mazda pickup gauge cluster
Hey, since i sold my zj i am borrowing my dads 2000 mazda pickup until i get another vehicle. in the gauge cluster only a few of the lights work (all on the right side) and i would pull it out and replace the bulbs but a little while back i was driving and almost got hit so i was pissed and hit the steering wheel and all of the bulbs flickered on and another one started staying on. I haven't taken the time to go all through it but i was wondering if anybody else has any knowledge about this kind of thing.

Pull the cluster out and replace the bulbs. You have to disconnect the speedo cable from the back of the cluster, and the three electrical connectors at the back of the cluster. There are four screws that hold the bezel on and another four that hold the cluster. The easiest way to get at the speedo cable is to pull the cluster foward just enough to get your hand back there and squeeze the connector to release it.
