KJ... oi...
I was proud the other day to have another Jeep added to my family, of course no one told me what it was. My neice got one and she was so thrilled.. then sent a picture of a Liberty. Granted it's a Renegade, and I'm judging without ever actually wheelin with one.. but I"ve never heard good things about them. Didn't have the heart to insult it right away.. but she wants to take it wheeling and I had better keep the chains ready to dig it out haha... Anyone have any experience with these things? I was never a big fan since they were supposed to be the "replacement" XJ. Sometimes I just wanna punch Chrysler in the face, First they drop the XJ then they quit making the 4.0 in wranglers, what's this world coming to!!

I would totally rock a KJ CRD, too bad the didnt sell alot of diesels. I would think they would handle alright offroad, taco's do just fine with independent suspensions.

When my dad went to Vegas, they're rental car was a liberty he said they took it out in the mountains and wheeled it a bit. He said for a stock vehicle it handle itself. He wasn't rock crawling or going thru mud pits but he did a few hill climbs and it took em. If his GF wouldn't have got scared it would of been tested more lol.

I suppose we'll just have to take it out and see!! I can't for the life of me figure out what difs they have in them. I know my XJ has the low pinion D30 and the C. 8.25 in it. Don't know if they kept them for the liberty or not

I kinda like the Liberty. Do a YouTube search and you can find plenty of videos of the "Libby" wheeling around. Seems to hold its own pretty well... at least as good as a stock XJ.
