They're only temporariliy stopping production due to a delay in a parts shipment because of some storms. It would be incredibly stupid if Jeep ever decided to stop producing the Wrangler.

It says right in the article that they'd produced over 21,000. of em so they wouldn't hinder sales at all.

Chrysler had built a large stock of Wranglers. The American company carried a U.S. inventory of 21,400 Wranglers on July 1, which should be enough for 2 months, so the problem should not affect the SUV's sales. This will allow it to keep sending vehicles to dealers so that the customers are not affected by the issue.

"We have an ample supply of Wranglers," said Shawn Morgan.
