I got a 78 CJ5, I always wanted to get one, and I found this one. It has 69k miles on it. It needs a couple of things, have to rewire everything, the motor mounts are loose, the rear end my be shoot out, the rear brakes are gone, rust in the floor, and need a new ignition switch. The old one i had to break to see if it would start, and it did and sounds like a beast..It has a I6 with a 3 speed trans, the PO said that the 4wd works but there is no front drive shaft. I hope I got a deal, I paid $1100 for it..

 

I think you got a heck of deal as long as you dont have to put more than a couple grand into it. I have always wanted one also. Good luck with it.
