Default Intake manifold gasket

To make a very looooooong story short, had to replace heater core in my daughter's Kia Sportage. The ENTIRE interior had to come out and the top half of the engine to replace this thing (REDICULIOUS!). I put the bottom half of the intake onto head with a new gasket. Didn't remember the top half of the intake coming with a gasket, so when I reassembled, I put an expensive high temperature gasket sealer w/copper in it on that connection so as to make sure it was sealed properly. Today while cleaning up I found the gasket which I wrapped in a paper towel. Should I be worried about having used the sealer instead of the gasket? I hate to tear this thing apart again.

Leave it. You will know if it is leaking. If your idle goes nuts, then pull it and put gasket on.

Ok, thanks. Second question: I was just researching the gasket material I used because it was called "Ultra Copper" and I was concerned because I used it cause someone says it's high temperature because it has copper in it. Thinking afterwards, I know copper eats aluminum and I was concerned on whether it would hurt her intake parts. But doing research, I found that it's only the name they used because of it's color, and it doesn't contain any copper. I'm thankful for that. But while reading the literature, it was kinda contradictory as one place said I could put it on and tighten everything up, and another section said that I needed to finger tighten it and then later tighten it up fully. I did the one, I put it on and tightened everything up. Am I going to have a problem?

You should let rtv setup for about ten minutes before tightening it down. But, on the intake there is no pressures against it. You are are just sealing it from sucking air in there. If it is running right, then it probably sealed just fine.
