Yes, its the soon to not ever to be infamous Ugly Chicken. This beaut is a classic 1996 Oldsmobile 98 Regency ELITE. for those of you who dont know this was the last year that Olds made these beauties. They made a big mistake when they discontinued their top of the line 98 and continued with the 88, because who did they think they were kidding, the only reason to buy an olds after they stopped producing muscle was to get one of these very luxurious sedans. This american beauty was built in Lake Orion Michigan, where else could such outstanding luxury be built?





The powerhouse behind this beast is a gigantic L36 3800 series II



Today i picked up this gem where it had been babied for its 145k life only showing wear on the seats and the bumpers where the elderly lady who owned it bumped into things. Yes, I am the proud owner of The Ugly Chicken!

i like them. they're ugly as crap but i like the way it runs and drives. it should do good for my trips this summer and moving to Orlando in august. with how HUGE the trunk is i should be able to fit nearly everything without it spilling over into the passenger compartment

The L36 is a very, very reliable engine. Had one in my Buick Century, and the thing was a tank. Changing the rear spark plugs, however...oh my god. What an enormous pain in the **** that is.

luckily for me it has had a tuneup within the last 2k miles and i took some pictures of it with its "sister car" granted they are crappy quality

the bad thing is a few weeks ago i had to borrow my grandma's caddy while the truck i was driving was getting fixed (she had backed into it) and i made the remark to my uncle that i was probably going to end up driving one of them, little did i know. but foor what i got for what i paid im happy.

LONG LIVE THE 3800!! I had 92 Le Sabre Limited. Loved it like none other... it was the tank and earned the name. God I miss that car. Long Life to the Ugly Chicken my friend.
