Help!!! Oil pump problem?
 

I need some input!

Ok ive got a 96 windstar im working on with the 3.8 motor

the oil pressure use to drop off when warm in idle to 0 and cause a rod nock.

So i replaced the bearing and pump, now i have no pressure at all. Just knocks. I pulled the filter to see if anything came out and nothing! I started it with the filter off and nothing came out. So my questin is even if somthing is wrng with the bearing i installed the pump should still pump and fill with oil right?
