Fun fun.... Not.
Well I did a little expiramenting on the Hardbody yesterday.
Seems that the driveline frees up in Low Range and will turn.
But put it back in High Range 2wd or 4wd and it locks up again.
So it seems that the transfer case is the issue and most likely its the shift
fork is fubarred.
If you seen my threads on the XJ, you will know I been this route before with
the NP231 except it didn't lock up just wouldn't change out of low range.
So here we go again I get to tear down a TX10 transfer case and go from there.
From the manual it looks a little more complicated than the NP231.....
