Ford F-series Seat Compatibility
I'm having a hard time finding clear, consistent information about which bench seats interchange throughout the F-series body styles. I have a '79 F150 SuperCab, and I want to know what benches (solid, 60/40, 50/50, 40/20/40) will be a direct fit to my seat bracket. I don't care what generation the donors are from.
I've heard '73-96 seats mate up to each others' brackets except SuperCabs. Anybody here have experience?

man i wish i could help you out...only expierence I have with ford seats is I took the bench seat out of a 87 f150 and replaced it with newer captains chairs just had to shim with a few fender washers but goodluck!
