Default F250 axles

OK so here's the story. My old man has a 91 F250 4x4 stake body I believe its a 3/4 ton. That is about to throw a rod. He is going to part it out the the good parts on it. My question is does anybody know what axles are under it and how much would he be able to get for them?

Well I got a set of ford axles I'm putting in my trail rig this winter when it becomes a tube buggy. Mine are out of a 64 they are d44 front and d60 rear. 410 gears 8 lug. But with ur ford being much newer u might have an ifs in the front. To me and a lot of people that's just scrap. If u post picks of the diffs I can help u more.

BrutalXJ is right about that IFS front, they started those around 87 or 88 in the F-250's. Still a D44 and should be a Ford 10.25 in the back. The only straight axle ford used in the front of the newer trucks would be a Dana 60, that is until you get into the more recent stuff. I know back in the 70's they threw a 60 under the front of some F-250's labeled as a 'Camper Special'. However, if you're considering using these under your DD aren't you concerned about the width? These axles should be about, what 6 - 8 inches wider. Unless you're thinking about narrowing them to fit under the jeep.

I forgot to take my camera today to get pics but I did double check. The front axle is a solid axle. It looks like a 44 but I'm not positive.
