Default Dielectric grease and heater hose

Any of you ever use, or hear of using dielectric grease on EPDM heater hose to help it slide onto a copper heater core? I didnt find much online. What i did find wasnt all that informative. I know it will help them slide on no problem, but what im curious about is what comes after. Some say dont use it as the hoses might slide off. I dont see how they could slide off if clamped properly as heater cores have ribs on both tubes to help seal once clamped. Maybe they know something i dont? Some say dont use dielectric grease, but didnt say why. Others say it will be fine. I know you can use dish soap or even spit, etc. (its a long list), but id like to know what you think about using dielectric grease for this sort of thing.

Vaseline or WD-40 work great for that

I love dielectric grease. wonderful stuff. But given the choice between using it or dish soap to lubricate a hose fitting. I'd go with the dish soap every time.
Dish soap breaks down and goes away a lot faster then dielectric grease. I want that fitting temporarily slippery to allow me to get it on, and that's it.
Use dish soap. It's THE most popular temporary lubricant for installing new motorcycle tires, and rubber hoses for good reason.
