Default Cummins EGR issues

So the Egr and cooler has been acting up on my 6.7 cummins. (08 ram 2500). Im tired of all the problems it causes and I fail to see how it could benefit the motor in anyway since it is forcing hot, dirty air back through the motor. The truck starts slow then sputters to a stop in about 30 seconds. Then I pulled the EGR away from the Air intake and started her up, ran like a champ. Anywho, is an EGR delete street legal in NJ? Will I pass NJ inspection with the EGR delete?

There not street legal anywhere. You have to see how your inspection shop will like it. Some are cool some rant so much. Do the erg delete and the def and you will love your 6.7!

Some shops care, some shop don't. Some you give them a tip and it "passes"

Some guys go through the trouble to keep the stock parts and put them back on come inspection time and put them back on for inspection. Then go home and remove them

It's against forum rules to talk about removing emissions parts.

That's exactly what I thought. Talk about scared of your own shadow. This does seem to be the safest forum on the interweb though (I've been on a LOT).
